Xpeng, a Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, released its G7 SUV on Thursday. The move adds another competitor to the premium SUV sector in China, the world’s largest EV market. The G7 will compete against Tesla’s Model Y, the current market leader, and Xiaomi’s recently launched YU7.
Xpeng, headquartered in Guangzhou, calls the G7 its first «Super AI [artificial intelligence] car.» The base model starts at 195,800 yuan (US$27,325), while the top-tier model costs 225,800 yuan, the company announced at the launch.Tomado de https://www.scmp.com/
